unlock via Bluetooth ?

I have read a few treads about unlocking via USB , but how about unlocking XDA 2i via bluetooth? Would that be possible.

I did not have the USB data cable from pc to Xda. Or the cradle. So what i've done was to install a bluetooth dongel on the pc and then send the unlock file to the Pda, via bluetooth , run it on the Xda 2i and then it was unlocked.
