This TyTn's cradle is made directly by HTC...

You are correct. This is almost identical to the cradle that came with my PPC-6700, and it has no audio out. It's available for pre-order from Expansys and they told me they should receive it on Monday...

but if you want almost the same thing a lot cheaper then try this ebayer. It doesnt have a 2nd battery charger but this is £8.98 rather than the HTC one for £29.00

Just note that it is cheaper to buy from their ebay shop rather than their main site. Its very good and next day delivery

I've been using the HTC cradle since last Thursday and it's very good quality. A bit expensive but worth it to me.

Agreed, it's also a bit fiddly to "drop" the device into the cradle, sometimes needs more than one go.

Where did you purchase this? Expansys and HTC shop says not coming in until Dec 8th.

I pre-ordered it last month from www.mobileplanet.com (the USA store for Expansys). I got it last week just before my 8525 got here.

I would absolutely NOT recommend the HTC original cradle (with secondary battery charger); it's almost impossible to fit the device into the cradle. After several tries one might succeed, but I'm always afraid of destroying the connector in the device. Extremely poor engineering!!!
