Hi, I've created this dialer, it is tested on HTC Wizard, but it should work on other devices too. It includes my edited greenbatteryfix6 ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=267321&page=5&highlight=greenbatteryfix6 ) too... Just unzip and install attached cab file...

New version: some bugs fixed, removed greenbatteryfix, so it should work on all devices now...

Is there a version without some battery fix malarky attatched to it? It's a very nice skin but it's a shame you made it unusable by adding this "fix".

Jim:

Thanks for the dialer skin!! Mucho appreciated. I like the fact that it picks up my finger taps much better than the stock skin, and the whole design is very cool looking.

The only thing I noticed that was missing is the headset or 'handsfree' icon that showed up in the stock skin if your headset was connected. Is it possible to add that?

Thanks

Jeff

Will this work with WM2003se?

Unfortunatly it will not.

What you could do is search for the xPad Reflex Dialer (http://www.pocketgear.com/software_detail.asp?id=19014&associateid=9) it looks great! To bad it doesn't work on WM5.0.

I can create a version without this fix, but this fix isn't here only for changing batteryicon, but it is for changing images in call history, instead of the blue pictures, there are grey vista icons...

E-Ten has SmartDial already, check www.paulya.com

That site says "Install the E-Ten Dialer w/ SmartDial which you can get here: (You must register with XDA-Dev to see the file for download)."
Can't download it. It will let you download the dialer without the smartdial.

The only problem I have is on the keypad screen in portrait mode. The labels on the top 3 buttons are missing: Speed Dial, Call History, and Talk/End.

The buttons work properly but they do not have labels. I have reinstalled the latest .cab a few times but no luck.

Can you let me know if there are any missing files?

Thanks!

Do you have this problem only in portrait mode? And what version of WM5 are you using?
Try check this value in registry:
HKLM,Security\Phone\Skin\Dialer\Portrait\TalkEndBu tton,TextColor = 16777215 (or FFFFFF in hex)

Thanks for the quick reply.

Yes, it is only a portrait mode issue.

I have a T-Mobile USA MDA (HTC Wizard) with ROM 2.26.10.2 WWE, cooked by xelencin.

And that registry value on my device is exactly what you typed:
HKLM,Security\Phone\Skin\Dialer\Portrait\TalkEndBu tton,TextColor = 16777215

Let me know if any of that info helps.

Thanks very much.

Great work, goes nicely with my own custom Vista skin- in which I recreated the aero transparency/blur effect by taking a screen shot of my today screen in portrait/landscape, blurring, whitening and slapping into the start menu background. Looks odd in front of apps, but is otherwise purdy and quite convincing.

I have Vista as a second boot on my desktop machine and it certainly has lots of pretty, too bad it sucks in most every other respect!

Any chance you could package the fix for the Speed dial/call history icons separately, they really do look all the more horrible now!

I tried this on my O2 Orbit (WM6) and it works fine apart from after you type in 7 or so digits the ones toward the left have their bottom part covered up - looks like something to do with text box for caller ID??

Another minor thing when you view the last call, it doesn't show up the caller ID photo, I think the original did - it certainly used to on my previous phone (Mio A701).

Great work though!
