Hey guys, i have fiddled too much... again

My xda II mini went for a very brief swim in the Swan River. I subsequently dismantled it to very small parts, washed circuits with alcohol, (all power sources removed) allowed it to dry for a day, reassembled it (with no spare parts!) and reset & restored with success. I then used it with no probs with bluetooth only syncs, as the USB comms would charge but not sync.

After a week I tried my luck a little too much in upgrading to latest ROM. Unfortunately it is now stuck in Bootloader mode. It will not flash from SD (from old nb1 file) and unable to talk to it through mtty \.\\WCEUSBSH001 (as USB doesnt work).

Anyone know what could be wrong with the USB circuit? is there any way to fix it? cant get past 'Serial v1.02' screen!
HELP!!

Thanks!

Well... instead of sending my Xda II mini brick to have the USB connector resoldered at the risk that the whole motherboard will need replacing - I just bought a new O2 Xda Stealth after reading all the troubles with the new O2 Xda Atom and O2 Xda Atom Exec.

Aside from all the technical upgrades in the stealth, it has rubber caps on all openings!! Best option for a clumsy gadget git.

O2 Xda II mini big storaged - stuck in bootloader with 256mb flash card, charger, pouch, and original Box & CD for sale for parts.

Soon to have stock Xda Stealth for Rom cooking...
Lets see if Gigabyte can get it right
