Media Player stops when keypad is locked

Is there a way that the media player stays active after the keypad is locked? I' m using the Treo 750 with a bluetooth headset (a2dp works fine). As soon as I lock the keypad the player stops. Could not find any option to change this.

Try Scrnsaver.exe [taken from PHM PowerToys] it powers down the screen and locks the keys [D-pad center opens them up again], in other words it keeps the device ON while turning the Display and Keys Off [read: battery saving]. I use it when listening to music via A2DP.

I found a fine solution in the meantime. VJDeviceLock does the trick and works great with the Treo:
