Universal production?

Does anyone know if/when the Universal will go out of production. Our suppliers are describing it as 'end of life' and will soon stop selling it. However this could just be our supplier discontinuing it. Anyone know how long the Uni is expected to stay in production by HTC?

Orange and O2 in the UK ended sales on this some months back - stocks are limited if not impossible to get hold of in the UK now AFAIK. This may coincide with HTC moving over to the newer models, Hermes etc. A sad loss...

I've inquired i-mate, 2 weeks ago, about new rom release, or if they considered the jasjar/universal in the end-of-life, and the answer was that they're working on a new rom.

If this means they're stoping production, but keep suport, I did not ask...
