upgraded but IPL didn't change?

i'm new to this so don't burn me
i just downgraded my 8125 to 1.08, i unlocked the sim/cid
then upgraded to cincular 2.26 aku2.3 by shogunmark, but the ipl is still 1.08???
so what am i doing worng?

flashing the wrong ipl will brick a device eg. (ipl 2.26.0001 --->G3 device-->Brick)

the 2.26 cingular rom might not update your ipl try another rom like molski 30mb then reflash to 2.26 cingular rom ! post your findings

its not a g4, its a g3
its has been working since the upgrade, so would i be safe to load the latest rom by molski...thanks LMK

ok, upgrade to molski rom was success
is there a way to remove task manager from the bottom right and bring back the battery status, also are ther any skins to the dial pad. one more question can u customize the desktop like remove things i won't be using...thanks for all ur help!
