Hi,

I'm away from homeland and on a mac. Bootloader 1.04 on Italian HTC HERMES 200 (ROM 1.18.258.2 ; ROM Date 07/22/06 ; Radio 1.03.03.10)

Card upgrade is my only solution. I've extracted the cab file (latest imate release CID 1.06) renamed and copied to the SD card (SD was empty as requested), but when I try to launch the bootloder (OK on the left+POWER BUTTON+RESET) I only have a 4 horizontal color stripes screen (red, green, blu and white, where on the red it says HERM200 IPL-1.00 and HERM200 SPL-1.04 and in the white one: Serial) instead of the Bootloader page. What is wrong? CID conflict?

By the way my HERMES in not a preproduction device.

Thanks, really love this forum.

UPDATE: Paying more attention I can clearly see that when try to launch the bootloader for a second the screen says Loading...and the very quicly switches to that 4 bands weird layout.

I also reformatted the memory stick (jusy in case) to FAT32.

The CID on your italian TyTN is "QTEK_405", as your device is not CID-Unlocked you need to put a HERMIMG.nbh file with this CID on the SD-card. Unfortunately there is no HTC shipped upgrade in italian yet, so no NBH image with this CID is available. Sorry to say that you won't be able to flash your device from SD card now.

Other than that, now your device is in 1.04 bootloader, it is not recommended that you upgrade to a ROM with bootloader 1.06 unless you CID-Unlock your device first.

Thanks POF,

I was reading that now.

Hope to find a PC to first unlock and than flash my tytn.
