A new test ROM for the HTC Trinity is available on XDA-Developers!

ROM Version: 1.15.405.4 WWE (World Wide English)
Radio Version: 1.20.00.11
Bootloader: 1.05.1000
CID: HTC__001

You can find the ROM upgrade on the "Shipped Complete ROM (http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=Trinity_Upgrades)" section of the Trinity wiki page (http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=HTC_Trinity) or in XDA-Developers ftp:

I don't own a Trinity and can't test it so I don't know what's on this ROM, if you try it please post details about it.

Dear Pof,
Thank you very much for the test rom, can you suggest any possible way to flash the trinity with this rom? Use No id upgrade??
Or just like hermes.

Use the standard Trinity RUU included with the ROM. There is no "no_id" for trinity :)

Probably because of the CID.

Try to run the RUU twice without disconnecting the device, I think early bootloader versions of the Trinity have the same bug as Hermes bootloader 1.04.

If you still have to buy it, buy a WWE version directly to avoid problems :)

The flash twice method is not work as after the frist flash , the phone show invalid vender ID , afterward it will reset itself and back to the splash screen and there is no bootloader bug..the bootloader version SPL 1.06.0000,IPL 0.50

I`ve tryed to unlock cid with lokiwiz...but it didn`t work,i have p3600 with german rom 1.16...how can i downgrade or flash with english rom?!

there is a chance that you can downgrade trinity bootloader 1.06 to 1.04

instructions are outlined on the very first page of the thread.


bootloader 1.04 will allow for what you are looking to achieve.

note: i have no guarantee that this procedure would not "brick" you device completely.

And my P3600 also... but in Portugal (FNAC) I ask to the employer of FNAC wich ROM have the HTC P3600 on this space and he tell me 1.18.xxx.x and Radio version diferent, ExtROM 1.18.xxx.xxx, and I buy one P3600. When in my house I read on Device Information: look my signature:eek:

Protocal version: 32.57.7020.o6H

No extROM version or anything.

OOT for a bit: My device is showing (under "Memory") 58.68MB for Storage and 49.10MB for Program. But under device information, I should have 64MB RAM & 128MB Flash. Where have the rest of the memory gone? Sorry, but I'm a bit confuused about the difference between RAM & Flash and how it relates to Storage & Program. Is there a way to unlock more memory?

Can someone enlighten me? Thanks!

I'm not sure how to determine if it is AKU 3.0 or higher but in "Settings"-"About"-"Version", It shows OS5.1.342 (Build 15096.3.0.0). I just got the device few days ago. It is a dopod D810 (model no. TRIN100).

got my P3600 today, a German Version not branded org. from HTC

RomVersion : 1.16.407.2
Rom-Date : 10-24-06
RadioVersion : 1.22.01.11
ProtocolVersion : 32.54.7020.01H
ExtRomVersion : 1.16.407.101

I am confused about the /windows/mm1lib.dll because inside there are settings for mms, which are constant overwrite my own settings. I search here inside the forum for mm1lib.dll and it seems some other had the same problem with other devices.

Any hints ?
