Does anybody know the specifics of how the charger for the Universal works?
The charger that I have for the car that I have (Brodit) works.
The desk cradle that I just recently bought doesn't work.
The 9V USB kit that I just recently put together doesn't work either.
I checked the wiki and noticed that pin 4 should be grounded to the pin 5 (which on the four pin USB connector is a wire from pin4 connected to the USB housing). Tried that on the 9V kit but it didn't work.
I'm very confused why my brodit car charger works but the 9V charger and the desk cradle doesn't work.
USB only has 4 pins and only 2 of them are used for charging (except for the pin 5 issue).
Can somebody explain to me how the charger works?
Is there something I else I need to do to make the 9V kit work?
