I've heard that Imei Check (http://www.imei-check.co.uk) can unlock these ones - though a quick check of their homepage doesn't show the phone.

Maybe an email to them would answer your question ?

just rang them up, spoke to the guy and said i wanted the unlock code for my phone, he asked why, i said to put another network sim in.

he confirmed my imei number and said he would post the code to me, which he did.

i am on contract with virgin, but they seem very reasonable and didn't ask any other questions.

Just Get In Touch Wiht Virgin, On Their Website, Or By Phone, And Tell Them You Need To Use The Phone On Another Network, And They Will Send You The Unlock Code In 48 Hours.

I Did So Last Friday Night And By Sunday Morning I Had The Unlock Code And Now I Have A Simfree Lobster.
