Possible issue with the unlocker v2a?

Hi All
I used the unlocker v2a and it worked great, but since then I just realized that sometimes my phone looses the GPRS or 3 G signal and put an x (but it still has signal GSM because the phone works). It happens when it looses the signal (i.e.: in the tube), after going to open air again it gets GSM signal but it keeps the x on the G or 3G space. I go to "Flight mode", the activate it, and the de-activate it to get the phone function working again and then it starts working well (with G or 3g symbol) again. I don't know if I explained myself properly. Hope it's nothing related with the unlocker and just a temporary and strange behaviour.

Upgrade your radio to a non patched one if you are not happy with the patched radio. BTW, the issue should not be related to the unlocker.

I just said that it's a possible issue, but don't know!
If nobody is having a similar issue I assume that isn't related to the unlocker!!
Do you reccomend to update the radio to a non patched one?, which one?

Ok, I will stay with 1.16. One stupid question: is it possible that this Radio version works better when using Vodafone than with Movistar? I'm using both sim cards.

You can flash the unpatched 1.16 i'ts linked on the wiki.

I'm also using both... voda contract and movistar prepaid... Haven't used movistar for data dough, but it's just fine for calls.

POF, sorry for bothering.
1)The unpatched version is better (or more stable) than the patched one?. If yes I'll upgrade. I'll follow your reccomendation. You're the master! :eek:
2) After reading the Wiki still not clear if I should start from Bootloader mode or not!

1: should not be any difference, but just to make sure your problem is not related to the unlocker, flash the unpatched one.

2: It doesn't matter... but I always prefere to start from bootloader and with activesync disabled, it can avoid problems some times.

Maybe I'm paranoid, but after using the 1st unlocker and the the Version2a one I notice some strange things:
- In Today screen, the unread messages show wrong info (my mail is empty and it keeps saying I've got 2 messages!)
- Sometimes the 3G connection starts alone (Push email disconnected and ActiveSync on manual updates)
- It gets blocked sometimes and I must soft-reset (in the past it worked very well)
- After recovering the lost signal, it doesn't recover the 3G or G symbol (it puts X), but it has GSM signal.

My question is:
- Is there any solution without hard-reseting?
- Is there any good ROM and/ or RADIO that will fix my issues?

I joined your two posts in one, there is no point in opening a new thread.

Again, your problems have nothing to do with the unlocker, I really don't understand why you keep insisting on that.
Hard reset and set up your settings correctly, this will fix your issues.

I'm just saying that it all started after using the unlocker, don't take it persoanlly!.
If nobody has issues with it it's clear it's not related with your program. If I do Hard Reset I will loose all my programs, right?
