active sync hangs - Dopod 838 Pro

dopod 838 pro active sync hangs need to restart the device.

current verison windows mob 5 version is 5.1.195 build 14955.2.0

any help to fix it?

Is there a latest verison of ROM for this device

I had the same problem, I installed Active Sync 4.5.0 (Build 5059) (Beta) and I have not had a problem since.

ROM Version: 1.30.707.2
ROM Date: 08/22/06
Radio Version: 1.11.00.10
Protocol version: 32.50.7018.00H

goto Start > Settings > System > Device Information... and repost the ROM version number... I am having no issues with activesync 4.2...

under Start > Settings > Connections > USB to PC... is the box ticketed?
