Keyboard Layout Terminal Services

I have a german universal with german keyboard layout. In all apps except Terminal services client this works excellent. In Terminal services my combination FN+q should print a @ to screen, instead it's a ". FN+2 gives german letter ä instead of ".
Any hints someone??Please!

I think that we just have to find the right value for the registry key "HKCU\software\microsoft\terminalserverclient\keybo ardlayout".

Sorry to resurrect such an old thread but been Googling all night..
My SPV M5000 is fine in all apps but terminal services (remote desktop) where my UK keyboard layout changes to what I presume is US.
The @ symbol is replaced by a " symbol etc.

which links to a Microsoft article which shows the keyboard layout ID's. I've tried editing the registry but it's made no difference.

Can anyone help? Even the virtual keyboard is wrong.

In a different occasion I had a similiar problem solved by installing the keyboard layout on the host (win2003 server, in my case). theTerminal services setups itself with the active host layout. Once connected, I change it on the language bar, near by the clock, on the host system.
