TomTom deleted/ How to get back?

I accidentally deleted TomTom from my unit. Its not on the discs that came with the unit. Anyone know how to get the program back?::(

install Total Commander (freeware), type in the address-bar "extended_rom" and now u can see some .cab files,.. click on the MP_ttn.cab, and the installation will start :)

I suggest this would be illegal... no, nust install the one from your ext_rom using total commander and you are good to go. I did it that way too :)

your probably right about this illegality---i was just curious. By the way as you see in my signature I officially own a tt6 version.

I will give it a try soon. But i expect to end up like you... plus it's a UK-Rom and I prefer german ones ;)

tom tom 6 wont recognise inbuilt gps on orbit, can someone please show ther settings that they have in the gps settings in settings and what to do in tom tom to get it going, thankyou

There is the possibility to edit your gps-settings:

Add the Key "GPS Settings" to "HKLM\ControlPanel" and assign a DWORD called "Group" with the value 2 to it. After a Softreset you should find the GPS-Settings Icon in you Settings-Manager in the Connection-Tab.
