hi all,

does anybody know how to get rid of that "Unknown publisher..." warning on the HTC Mteor?

I unlocked my phone and it runs unsigned software, but I still get that warning. I already tried the usual registry thing:

00001001 = 1
00001005 = 40
00001017 = 144

(+ reboot) but I still get that warning.

Any ideas?

thanks,
Daniel

Hi,
It looks like you need to add one more string in
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \Security\Policies\Policies:
"0000101b": Dword = 1
that string is realy FULL unlock.

That value was already set to "1"

Any other ideas?

thx,
Daniel

Unless all é binaries in the cab file tt's being pushed 2 é device is signed wif é whole cab itself & é cert is in ur cert stall,tis is bound to happen. U can run unsigned apps after app unlocking é device but tis is a safeguard 2 prevent any app from installing itself w/o user intervention & also when u answer Yes 2 install/run é app, u're in effect giving é contents of é cab equal rights as é cab itself...allow to install & unpack into respective location

Reviving thread, came across this and had it documented..

Should be 101a the one you change from 0 to 1... This also is for running unsigned programs...
