My T-Mobile fell in the water and I caught it very quick and immediately turned it off then I took the battery, stylus, sim card and battery cover out. I blow out all the water I can and used a special camera and glasses cleaner to clean all wet spots. Now I am afraid to turn it on again and would like to know to how to disassemble everything and dry it before I burn it out. Please if anyone can help and supply pictures would be appreciated.

Here is the service manual to open it ftp://xda:xda@ftp.xda-developers.com/Uploads/Wizard/Wizard_Service_Manual.pdf

I also suggest you let it dry really well..maybe a blower would be a good idea before you put the battery back and turn it on. Goodluck! Give it a day or two.

Thanks Clem for the manual,

I just couldn't wait for responce and after 2 days I put battery and sim back and crossed my fingers that i won't see any smoke or boiling noise (the meter on this mda is still 0 use ;) ) and everything is working fine now:) .

Hello there.

I am desperate in seeking an MDA service manual. The FTP link does not work I need to get my MDA working. I have bought a replacement screen, but am afraid to take it apart myself.

Can anyone please send me the pdf file of the service manual?

My email is kennytheplanner@yahoo.com

Thanks!
