Unlock unsuccessful, please help.

hi,guys.

i just got my spv m3100 yesterday. followed the instruction provided on this forum and yet i got the Unlock success message on my phone.

I thought the phone has been sim-unlocked, however, when i try to put on another sim card which is not from orange, it gave me the following message:

"You have tried 5 times, please wait until timeout..."
_____________ (should enter code here)

|OK| |Emergency|

i also tried to put the unlock code: "If the phone requests unlock code when you put a locked SIM, the code is: 22051978."

and it said that is an invaild code. can anyone help?

Please confirm that you have flashed the patched Radio ROM correctly.
You can do this by clicking Settings---->System----->Device Information.
Radio version should read 1.16.00
If not then retry the flash again.

hi, silent...thanks for the advise.

i did servral time rom flash again however, after i reset the device after the error message. the rom version still 1.06, the same.

what do i do about it? i am sure i followed the instruction...just don't know where i did wrong...thanks
here some more information about my device:

Rom Version: 1.23.61.4
Rom Date: 07/13/06
Radio Version: 1.06.00.00

The unlocker is not working because the radio is not flashing correctly.
Firstly lets just make sure that you are running the correct bootloader and Orange Uk haven't updated their devices with a new ROM.

Put your device into bootloader mode, do this by pressing power+ok button together and then soft reset (while buttons are still pressed).
EDIT: Ensure its Ok button on side of device, not ok button next to d-pad
Should now see a screen with coloured blocks and some information on screen.
Post here what it says after SPL

i did confirm the bootloader before i do the flash, but i checked it again. here is the info.

hi..i tried few times again but it still won't flash the Radio. By the way, i am using the Windows installed by Parallels on MacBook. Would that be the problems? cause the bootloader is 1.04 but it just doesn't work. i really don't know why..also, the RUU is not getting the information from my devis either.

Search the forum for enter simlock code thru MTTY.EXE.

Are you flashing with phone booted in OS or are you flashing from Bootloader??

after some research i known some people have the problems too...also i tried the command method from POF but can not get the "0" message...

Definitely! Try either booting into windows directly or using an actual PC for the radio reflash.

Good deal! I think the Boot Camp thingie or whatever Apple calls booting full real Windoze should work, but using a PC is safer :) Glad you're unlocked!
