radio 1.20 and spl 1.06

can this be accomplished? yes i have downgraded to 1.04 then sim/cid unlocked my phone.. i tried different things but couldnt make it happen, the closest i got is where the screen and phone would show its loading but would only sit at 0% for about 5 minutes then error out...

also is it normal to have IPL 1.01 and SPL 1.06? its been like that ever since i got my phone from cingular.. sorry if its a dumb question but i am coming from the wizard where things are a little bit different

i believe you still have bootloader 1.06 if your spl says 1.06.

you need bootloader 1.04 if you want to do the radio upgrade only.

i guess my post wasnt clear on what i was attempting, i sometimes dont think straight but go on weird tangents... let me try this a different way.. yes i can flash it on 1.04, but has anyone found a way to modify the radio update utility to flash it on 1.06 and higher? thats what i had no success doing...
