I've found a UK supplier with both black and white in stock.
http://www.inkino.co.uk
Based in London (Tott Ct Rd) I popped over there and picked up a black one today. I got tired of Expansys putting back the delivery dates! Price was the same as theirs too!
Going from my Exec to this is a shock....its sooooo much smaller but alot more responsive.
Does anyone know if it will handle 4GB mini sd's?

Don't think so.... the specs don't mention SD-HC (or whatever it is called) anywhere....

Well I've ordered one today £55 plus delivery so will post my results when it arrives.
Can someone recommend a good case for the trinity? I'm used to using a Krussel Horizontic one with my old Exec and find its the best for me with its two looped belt straps.
Been through their website but can't locate a specific one or a general one that comes in the correct size.
Any helps appreciated!

I know....when I got a reply to my query yesterday the said "no firm date...but within two weeks"
So I can canceled and got mine from a shop a mile from home! And an authorized reseller at that!

I just received my black one today and it comes with a very, very nice black horizontal leather (not vinyl) case with elegant stitching.

Wow.... This is very good news. I hope tests can confirm it asap. If that's the case I wonder why they didn't make it clear in the specs.

Yes, THANK YOU. That is exactly the news I've been waiting for. I was sure it would support the new cards but I had to see it in black and white before making an order. I need 4gb!

Busy transferring all my music to it right now.

So which mini SD card did you buy? Have you filled it up yet? Does it seem as fast as normal SD cards (not mini)?
Sorry for all the questions but my credit card is jumping out of my wallet...Down Boy!

One of the few places that I could find a 4GB in the UK at a reasonable price.
Got in next day in the post.
Yep its nearly full....just on 3GB of music....then some satnav maps and ebooks:) Speed doesn't seem to differ too drastically when copying via PC. In the device I see no difference.
Also the A2DP works alot better on the Trinity than my old Exec.

no worries!
Also, may I suggest that the SDHC support is also being enabled for HTC Hermes as well? :)
Not sure why this fact has not been discovered yet.

I believe the Tytn (Hermes) uses a micro SD card which probably won't be available in a 4gb size for quite a while....sadly.

@J273
Secure Digital High Capacity SDHC supports addressing of up to 32 gigs of card memory, at speeds of 2, 4 or 6 megs/sec

You're using a mini SDHC card, correct? not a v.1 Mini SD card.

I hope they come out with even bigger ones soon. I'm sure the TyTn micro SD users would like to have a 4gig too.

The add for the miniSD states it is compatible with old devices like the audiovox smt5600(I have one--windows 2003) so it can't be the new format--or can it?

I think you may be right. I doubt that the speed of the card is an issue with these devices. Future compatibility with other devices might be a concern. As long as it works.

SDHC cards are the same physical size as their older counterparts (SD, Mini etc.), but the devices and the cards interact differently. So compatibility could only be achieved with firmware upgrades, available for some photo cameras - but I have seen none for a PDA yet.
BTW Transcend Germany has a nice 4 GB SDHC MiniSD at 76.40 euro incl. tax ex shipping

I just ordered a 4GB one... in preperation for my HTC P3600 (which fingers crossed should be delivered sometime this week - Hoping Expansys get stock in this week).
Ok, I got my HTC P3600 and 4GB memory stick... and it doesnt work in the device :( I hope maybe a firmware update will fix this later. Dont need the space until (hopefully) GPS is enabled, and I need to install TomTom

SDHC in Microsoft terms means: SDIO Host Controller.
SDHC in registry is relative to Host Controller. There is no any relation to High Capacity cards!
so, just nevermind that registry and file with "sdhc" in name.
