WM2005 extremely slow

Hello,
I installed WM2005 on my HTC Himalaya device (WM2005 AKU3.2 page pool size-24MB RAMDisk-40MB for Himalay),
But it is extremely slow. Clicking on the start menu
takes f.e. about 10 seconds...
My device has no camera, is this the problem?

are you sure, that there are no other apps running in the background? ;)

There is nothing running in the background.
Just WM is slowly, TomTom f.e. runs pretty fast (but it takes 10 seconds to click on it)...

I've experienced the same slowness :(
Attempt to downgrade WM2003 now, but not sure which ROM is the best. Appreciate for your help

what rom are u using?
