Is there a win2005 without RAMdisk or is it possible to make one. Because I wanna to use all my 128 RAM as a program memory and big page pool, I don't see the use of RAMdisk if you have big MMC card. Thanks in advance !!!

ramdisk offer a great speed(!!!!) for launching favorite app`s.
It not wise not to use it.

....is fast like storage memory ? How many times is faster then normal SD card and what about when battery is empty, or after haed reset?....
And how many memory is using usualy WM5 for normal work (like phone and internet) of RAM disc or is it really necessary.

in my case after removing the battery to replace the sim, all data in the ramdisk will be lost.

It is in correct. Simply by removing the battery for short duration or for accessing the SIM card the RAMDisk contents are not lost. They may be lost only if the battery is not handled carefully.

yes! i 2nd to that. and that's why wm5 uses storage for installation of files so that you may not erase all your programs, storage is not volatile. So its better to install applications to storage.

removing the battery for 'short duration' will be fine cos xda till has a internal battery. once the internal wan running out...the data in ramdisk will till be gone..
am i right???

but many people seem to loose data even with backupbatt
maybe there is a hardware issue with some models when it comes to
backup batt
