Delay when typing digits into phone?

Guys,

When using the on screen dialer I have to wait for the phone to catchup with me, I can't just tap the numbers in quickly - is there a tweak to get around this? I donb't want to turn off the sound effect/tone as I use tone dialing a lot during banking calls etc.

Actually, if you turn off the tone sounds, it still works to send tones, you just don't hear them...and its a million times faster. I did it two weeks ago only and I am much happier now!

Many thanks, just done that and problem cured - what a stupid design flaw in the OS though! Why do they spend such little time and effort on Pocket PC, pathetic really...
