Greeting,

Sorry if this has been covered but every search comes back blank.

I live in Perth Western Australia and we have just started daylight savings for the first time. Problem is when I move my clock forward the 1hr it keeps changing all my appointment times by 1hr also....which I don't wont to happen!

I assume I'm doing something wrong but can't see the solution, could some please advise how to change times without changing appointments.

Cheers all,

marto

A further update on this. O2 don't have any solutions, there advise is to "uncheck" the "Synchronize Mobile Device clock upon connecting" box which is under the Options tab in Microsoft Activesync.

The other strange thing is all dates in my Outlook calender since the commencement of daylight savings have moved themselves forward 1hr even though the time on my mini are still correct??

Perhaps microsoft have a solution or answers.

Here in Europe DST starts on the last Sat/Sun of March and ends on the last Sat/Sun of October. As long as the timezone and regional settings are right the OS pops up a message asking the user for confirmation of the time change. Your PC must likewise be set accordingly for appointment times to be in sync.

I think this auto on/off of DST is built-in in the OS. Since it is the first time that Australia is using DST, I'm not so sure if would work for you automatically. You might have to manually advance the clock by 1 hour to both your unit and PC.

We've just started DST (Sydney, Australia) today and I noticed that my PC (Vista) changed automatically but my PDA (JasJam) updated with HTC WM6 didn't change. I can't find anywhere to sync the clock with the computer in Vista Mobile Device Centre and can't find anything on WM6. I did a sync and soft reset but it still stayed on non-DST time. I manually changed the clock and synced and the time stayed and my appointments stayed ok in Outlook but I'm not sure what's going to happen with my invitations to other ppl though.

Is there supposed to be somewhere to change the region/time to DST??
