...that look to be fixed with a new ROM yesterday.
Don't jump to conclusions, it's a brand new device that hasn't had enough testing but it's still a corker.
PS Mine arrives today!

I doubted between the P3300 & X500 for the processor, but i'm glad I chose the P3300. The X500 isn't as crispy looking as it predecessor the ETEN G500 (which I had before). The G500 was heavy+bad speaker quality.
For me the HTC P3300 beats the Eten G500 & X500.
If you need better processor (gps works fine + wifi also + skype) you can use the tool to set your processor to 240mhz, but don't need it at the moment, everything works fine.
And i'm glad with the dimensions / look / funky trackball /weight... everything.. Cheers!

guys i bought the x500 in january this year, i was suitably impresed, it is marketed as the thinnest ppc with integrated gps etc.The
device is a fantastic ppc/phone, but it does have its problems, i am on t-mobile uk and the device cannot be configured to use gprs on this network, i have since sold my x500 to buy an unlocked xda orbit which although thicker in size feels a lot smaller and is fantastic with t-mobile web n walk, those on t-mobile uk beware.Clove uk have started to state that this unit is not compatible with t-mobile uk.

I recently bought the m700, which is the x500 with a slide out keyboard, which I bought from expansys.co.uk. The software and setup that eten send out with the phones is awfull and I found completely annoying, hence I sent the phone back the next day. Also it has a too larger body (it looks nice in the pics on the internet), the screen looks out of proportion. Over all the whole package was a let down. If you really want one you would need to flash the rom!!!
