Hi all. Just got my P3600 today, very nice indeed.
One complaint (so far!); There's no headphone socket, only a set of pretty crummy headphone with a mini-usb connector. Is it possible to get a mini-usb adaptor so that I can plug in some decent headphones? 3.5mm jack would be best, but 2.5 would do as well.
Thanks for any help!
Lee.

Your best bet at the moment is to cut the original audio cable and put a jack on it. Some adaptors are available, but the ones I´ve tested had a lousy fit. Stupid HTC forgot to offer an adaptor, and include it in the package. We´re complaining for many months now...started with the Tytn.

Expansys (a shop I always try to avoid) sells one for 9.95 pounds

(available from mid January though)
PS: Am I the only one thinking that the size of the earbuds in the original headset is for elephant's ears?

You are so right. That is the first think I'll do when I get one of these "new and improved" mini USB audio plugs. I have custom headphones for my Jamin now. I bought a nice pair of Koss headpnones and soldered it to a SE P800 headset, which fits in the Jamin.
Expansys also offers a Y splitter so you can have charger on ones side and headphones on the other, both mini USB of course.

Thanks for the info chaps. I think I'll try an adaptor from Expansys or somewhere before chopping up my headphone cable!

I bought this adapter from www.martinfields.com:
http://www.martinfields.co.uk/productdec.asp?pid=2698&prod_type=cable&model=d_P800W&modeln=most%20HTC%20and%20compatible%20devices)
It works fine for playing audio with the P3600 and uses a 3.5mm socket, although obviously it doesn't have the phone answer button on it.
Cheap too, although it takes a while to ship from Hong Kong.

So, when you are listening to music, and a phone call comes in, can you use the microphone in the phone? Is it muted? In other words, do you have to unplug the headphones to answer a call?
