i've done it over bluetooth, it was a snap..
see if i can recall from memory..
pair the device, but do not choose mobile phone, rather choose other (i think)..
once it's paired you choose the modem or script or something, i chose 'sprint pcs' blah..
make sure it's dialing #777...
on the 6700 open the modem program.. select bluetooth and start..
hit dial on the computer..
should work..

It's stupid easy. The bluetooth pairing and definition is actually the tough part. You do that, and make sure your Mac knows it is a bluetooth modem among other things. ONce you have the pairings all straight, then just create a new System Preferences-->Network location, and you can put the PPP info in there, or better to use Applications/Internet Connect.app to create the config there, and it's basically the same thing your phone is doing when you are connecting for EVDO - #777, your username and password -
CAn the developers on here perc up - it really can't be rocket science to create a generic USB driver instead of using bluetooht. We've got to have SOMETHING to show for sticking with sprint....
with the Internet Connect app in Applications, you are creating a PPP

There is an app named "USB Modem" that I have found a while back. I haven't given it a try yet, but the company claims the software provides a USB connection for OS X, Linux, and Windows XP.
