http://msmobiles.com/news.php/5846.html on MSmobiles to see a quick review of the power of smartphone crossbow WM6 (or 5.2?)!
MS understands the power of keyboard-enabled smartphones and WM6 will be the next step.
An usable calculator, office with document editing, windows live, enhanced messenger, graphic (they enable the power of new smartphone graphic resolution 320x240 or 240x320).

I believe this will be winning next smartphone philosopy: isn't Windows Mobile with something less anymore, is a strong alternative to bridge between phones an PDA and more for less, much more than a simple phone for less money than a PDA! :) (hey man, early in the morning I'm a good CopyWriter too) :)

Wizard and dash both have 200 MHz OMAP 850 processor's. the version that is leaked is a pocket Pc addition, there hasnt been a smartphone addition leaked yet.

I have the Dash (running the S620 FW) and the K-Jam running Crossbow.

The K-Jam runs faster than the Dash now. I can't imagine what Crossbow will do for the Dash...

I own both aswell and yes it does promarily due to the OS on the dash not being as labor intensive as the full blown pocket pc version

Homescreens are done totally different on the smartphone then they are on PocketPC.

Also, the title of this thread is misleading and should be changed. It implies that you have a version and you plan on releasing it soon.

I KNOW OF SOMEONE THAT DID POST A COMMENT ON ANOTHER FORUM OF TESTING THE WM6 ROM ON EXCALIBUR,he or it claimed it would be leaked soon but that was posted in december, maybe if we all pm that member bug him a little he might give in to tell us where or when we can find the leaked version that will work with excalibur! anyways here is the posted comment from that forum

I have an RUU update for the Dash with WM6, we're releasing it to a few partners to do closed beta testing. Expect the ROM update to be leaked very soon.

SO hang on, will Crossbow be compatible with the Dash? Are you sure you'll be able to download Crossbow onto the Dash?

As far as being compaitable it should be able to handle it. I can't see why not. Will the release be official? That's hard to tell. That would involve T-Mobile or HTC buying an upgrade for the Dash from MS and then releasing it to the public.
