When I had flashed over to Summiter's Cingular AKU 2.3 + CF2 Test 2 package, I had let it do the upgrade and came back after the installation of the image finished with the phone rebooted.

I never got a chance to glance at the boot-up screen until just a moment ago and noticed that the IPL and SPL read as the following...

IPL: 2.24
SPL: 2.26

My phone is CID Unlocked and also SIM unlocked from the downgrade/lokwiz/upgrade/flash tutorial and in addition I do know that Summiter has not been around. I just wanted to see if anyone out there is using Summiter's ROM and noticed this.

I have just reflashed to Molski's Clean ROM and the IPL & SPL now read 2.26 for both, in fears of the phone bricking for those wondering.

Hi Miata. I'm not quite sure what you are asking.

I was just wondering if anyone is using Summiter's Cingular Clean ROM and if they are... Did they notice that the IPL and SPL are different?

I wouldn't want anyone else to brick their phones.

The last custom rom I used was the same Summiter rom. I went directly from that rom to Molski's 30 MB Rev 3 Rom on my CID/SIM unlocked G3 8125 with no problems.

my current numbers
IPL 2.26
SPL 2.26
GMS 02.47.11
OS 2.26.10.2

All with no problems

After upgrading to Molski's 30mb Clean ROM, my IPL and SPL fixed themselves thankfully to 2.26. Just trying to double check if I was seeing things or not, because it would be a shame for someone to brick their phone just simply because they need the Cingular settings in a custom ROM.

If you just needed the Cingular GPRS and MMS settings you can get that in any rom... There are threads that have all of the Cingular settings integrated into CAB files.
