Lost my splash screen

Hi,

I've read through the posts on modifying your splash screen, but my problem is not addressed in the posts - my Cingular 8125 goes from the Cingular splash page directly to the OS....I'm not seeing the Windows Mobile splash screen at all anymore. Before this began I did go thru some software install/uninstall issues and did end up having to do a hard reset - did something get corrupted?:confused:

I've made notes of the procedures posted here about modification of the splash screen, but I'd like to get back to Square One first.:o

Ideas?

Thanks in advance!Backup the things/aps you have installed and reflash the official Cingular ROM. Voila, square one achieved.

Thanks for the tip - I'll do the research on this, because I think I've seen horror stories about people flashing ROM and bricking thier devices...:eek:

Double check that you have the file welcomehead.96.png (in \Windows) and it is 320x320, file size 26KB.

Does it always have to be 26K, cus i did my own and it is greater then that and i have no problems!
