i must say this to ;

this rom will be the first of its kind ,there is no custom rom for the wiz so far cooked this way.....it prety much the same way microsoft and htc do their roms. for instances cleartype,gps icon ,and perfomance tweaks, etc... are integrated into the core of the rom by default,so even if you dont install the extended rom the rom still performing the same. im trying to migrate all i can to the core so g4 users can use the rom since some cant install the extended-roms.,and of couse it looks and feels more profesional.ehehe

i have also integrated the fake server trick to the core now....but im not sure if it is a good idea.what do you think guys?

it works this way ..if im rigth...lets say that..

the service requires you to use rom version 111111 in order to work
but you got rom version 222222
so by changing the value in rom 222222 with the version of 1111111, this will make your rom 22222 as 1111111,this also will change the ro version in "about" witch i belive is where the service checks the rom version.

This is the hack so activesync doesn't run in the background all the time if I'm not mistaken, if it is.... yeah please put that sucker in there, I know it doesn't take up too much memory but every 1k counts, specially when it's being taken up by an app that is not doing squat.

You must read read read and then you must wait. The ROM isn't public Faria chooses who will test his ROM and the group that does that is very small (1 or 2).

I think that would be a great additon to any rom that sucker loves to keep running itself it gets annoying.

Actually the complaint was related to the chef's thread being hijacked by folks who didn't research at all and then didn't take the time to read the author's initial post which addressed said issues and by the low-lifes that harrassed them and such. No I can't but I can say that it's not this Crossbow ROM and it's not the "Super ROM". You gotta hang tight, things are moving as quick as they can. Please be patient as Faria's got something bad-ass cooking is all I can say.

don't quite understand you question.....the ROM has crossbow diallers ,smardialer windows media skin
and every component has been updated....more file support for windows mediaplyer,new camera,new homepage,new sim manage ,new stk. media streamer, windows live ,windows live messenger .window live search.etc etc,,,, new bt stereo stack -now the phone rings in the headphones and device at the same time,no more skips or speed variations.
also -it has more support for wireless security profiles.
the phone buttons and missed call appear to be fixed too.so far in testing no problems there.
everything is integrated even reg keys-this will make it essayer for g4 owners.


but there is a problem....we cannot so far make it as an 8mb page pool.

don't quite understand you question.....the ROM has crossbow diallers ,smardialer windows media skin
and every component has been updated....more file support for windows mediaplyer,new camera,new homepage,new sim manage ,new stk. media streamer, windows live ,windows live messenger .window live search.etc etc,,,, new bt stereo stack -now the phone rings in the headphones and device at the same time,no more skips or speed variations.
also -it has more support for wireless security profiles.
the phone buttons and missed call appear to be fixed too.so far in testing no problems there.
everything is integrated even reg keys-this will make it essayer for g4 owners.


but there is a problem....we cannot so far make it as an 8mb page pool.

crossbow as far as i know has a new shell that looks like windows vista...maybe is that that you mean,. this is not compatible with current roms.

yes i got all the ooriginal crossbow themes including this one....but when the theme is set in current Roms the colour is lite ,the shiny bars you see here are made by the new shell, in crossbow....this shell will turn any wm5 theme into a shiny one. this cannot be copied alone to aku Roms.

well nice looking rom, lots of stuff there , im not sure microsoft have something to do with em. especialy O2 plus is quite handy utility, saves couple clicks on reaching A2DP connection :), but bugs with AVRCP in WMP remains as always in that build. shortcuts finaly makes desktop more operational. but still this biuld is pisses me off, good to know that faria seems not planing to stay on 2.3. now i need to test this bug i have in molski 3.0 with wifi, that cuts my speed to 50kb/s max, what makes watching movie not possible(there was no such problem in faria 3.0). i'll check this bug as soon as i establish smb with my pc via wifi, and maybe its just my second repair at service :). gps in connection settings is good to have too.

calm down there buddy, faria as well as others are working hard to release this rom. It is not like they are getting paid money to release roms to us, they release it because they like to enrich the community. That being said it is not like they can dedicate their whole day to developing the rom, they have lives and jobs as well as family to worry about not users on a forum. I am sure once it is finished it will be the best available and the wait and hype will definitely be worth it. So please just be patient and I know it is difficult to deal with newbies logging on and asking for the rom and unlocking info, but remember we were all there once. Just relax and be kind because kindness is the best medicine :)

sounds like your really waiting for the rom like the rest of us.. checking back and forth to see if its been released.. here is some advice.. unsubscribe from the thread rite now.. there is no reason why you should do this to yourself.. and just check back often wen u have free time... but dont take it out on the thread cuz you keep checking thinking that its been released.. when its just other members posting which is something that they are allowed to do.

I haven't updated the sig for a week or so...

AFAIK, missing calls was just the biggest problem with the 3.x releases so far, there were other problems(I can't recall what they areat the moment) but, faria has eluded that the new release may be a 3.xAKU and that the issues are all resolved.

I'll update that sig asap, sorry if it offended anybody,

Missing calls was apparently a problem with some interaction between the AKU3 roms and the radio rom. A couple people have investigated in another thread and discovered that the 2.19 ROM fixes that problem and now I'm seeing that it may have also helped the battery sucking feature of that ROM. Go check out that thread if you want an AKU3 rom right now.

yes the rom was supposed to be released today but im buzy with crossbow for tomorow.

this roms is aku3 3.3.0.0 it is the first custom rom fully integrated ,with everything, working perfect ....i have hasked the others that work in the ro with me to release it. it is also compliant wi g4 ....

The Extended ROM is for the carrier's GPRS cabs, which are already included in the Accessories folder if I remember correctly. (I'm reflashing as we speak so I can't look at it..)

True Crossbow Icons, Adobe Reader LE and an assortment of integrated goodies...

This will be uploaded to the FTP very quickly for your review.
