Warning - FTP is full of porn!

There is a Virus on the wiki ftp that has 528 Kb (it called XDA ROM Image Editing.exe, please delete it!!!!!!!) it totaly broke down my win xp OS it wont eaven start, But i have a back up system whitch is Linux :-). Thats why I can inform you

The same problem that I have...I broke down my RAID 0! Grrrrrrrr!
And now I can't save my files and configurations...SHIT!
This virus has changed the geometry of my raid, erased the volume, file system and the mbr (master boot record).
Compliment for the autor of this bastard virus! If I'll meet you, you are departed!

i did check the other folders briefly and they did come up clean... and since those 2 were deleted i dont think flar will be able to trace them.. the only real way to get away from this crap is to have a closed ftp with everyone having thier own user/pass... anyway, this isnt the place for this discussion

Probably someone want to do the attack on users xda-developers - a first virus came up for forum - was a mass sending out. Now this is loaded on ftp.

if faria didnt save it then i will pack it up when i get home and mail it.. i did scan it with mcafee and it came up clean.. which is why i saved it, but i know that not all virus's are detectable, etc..

Xda-developers very popular place -someone specially want to use their own program for bad action.

My offer - no anonymous access on loading in ftp - if you load in ftp we must know who this has loaded. No loading with anonymous and other proxy. If person not to have a real address he can address to moderator or administrator with request to load file.

i have presented that idea to the site admins to see what we can do about private log in's.. i do agree that is the best route to go, but its not up to me.. we will see what happens
