NOTES:
- Rom upgrade "stops" for +/- 1 minute around 94% - 98%
Use this method when having problems with upgrading:
1. Downgrade to the 1.05 Rom ( ftp://xda:xda@ftp.xda-developers.com/Wizard/Roms/Qtek/CUSTOM__RUU_Wizard_1050412_WWE_101_11210_WWE.exe )
2. Download Lokiwiz 0.2b and extract it to the root of one of your drives, I'm using E: today on my Thinkpad.
3. Copy enablerapi.dll to your device with ActiveSync (don't create a partnership yet, explore as Guest), I just copy to it's root.
4. Execute enablerapi.dll from your device.
5. Open a Command prompt (<Start> <Run> type "cmd" without the quotes and hit <Enter>
6. Go to the root of whatever drive you extracted Lokiwiz to, my case I type "E:" <Enter>
7. Type "U" <Enter> .. wait and you device WILL soft reset. If it doesn't then you're not following instructions!
8. Stay at the Command Prompt!
9. Run Lokiwiz a second time and type "C" <Enter. Your device will reset a second time... if it doesn't you didn't follow instructions.
10. Exit the Command prompt
11. Downgrade to the 1.05 a SECOND time. Upon reboot, if you followed procedure, you will have a IPL and SPL of 1.x

any phone that is going to be flashed with a new ROM should be unlocked, whether it is G3 or G4. If you aren't familiar with the idea, you should stick with your carrier's ROM and not consider flashing it. (seems to be the common advise for this forum).

sorry to ask, but does the g4 need to be unlocked also? dont shoot me
Your phone needs to be CID unlocked to properly do this reflash. Do a search and I would even say spend some time reading in the G4 section. The info is all within the forum. Do lots of reading before considering the necessity of this ROM flash...
If you're ready to make the jump, then go download the ROM image and upgrade. If you're new to the idea, I would stick to monkey_knight's suggestion to keep with your original ROM until you're comfortable with the thought of upgrading.
To the G3 owners out there: The G3 image is on the FTP under Uploads/Molski.biz/ directory. It works GREAT and the speed of the OS is signifigantly better than it was on the AKU 2.3 ROM! Awesome job Molski on the boot-up splash screen, but I wish the Windows Mobile splash screen was the one from the previous AKU 2.3 ROM. I am in love with how quickly I can switch tasks, close out programs and the enjoyability of my phone has gone up almost 3 times! Once again, I must give thanks to Molski for releasing this ROM to the public! This really shows the robust traits of the Wizard as an awesome Windows Mobile 5 device!

No, no NLD versions anymore, on molski.biz/forum you can find a CAB file (Molski.Biz_Dutch_Spell_Check.cab) that makes text-input for SMS, Email, Tasks and so on in the Dutch Language, that is a lot better in my opinion, I like my Roms this way a lot more then a complete NLD version ;)

Unfortunately this does not work completely on AKU3.2, works good, but causes a few bugs, that's because the .mui and .dll files are different in AKU2.x and AKU3.x

Other question, (hope it is allowed) The MMS settings for TMobile which is available on the XDA FTP, doesn't work with this Rom.
TMobile will not give me the settings for an unknown reason. Will there be a file similar to the one, that will work on AKU 3.x roms as well? (for some reason, it doesn't work on AKU 3 roms?)
Molski, i've been testing this one for the entire day now.. (no actual work done..my boss will be happy.. :P )...and it works like a charm! fantastic work!

Well, this isnt a CID unlock question. Now judging from the responses so far and the note given in molski's post i can understand that this ROM contains the IPL/SPL and hence cant be flashed onto cid locked phones. What I just want to know is this:
1. Is there a plan to release a ROM not containing ipl/spl for locked g4 devices.
OR
2. Can I use the method given in risidoro's thread " [How-To] Install any 2.x ROM in a CID-Locked G3 or G4 Wizard" to install this 3.0 ROM?

well... thats not true. If there are no ipl spl in the new rom, then you wont need it to be unlocked.

Moslki:
I tried your final 2.3 ROM and it was very fast. Then this morning I flash your 3.2 ROM which is even better as Voice command is finally working the way it's suppose to be. All the calls and messages are annouced through the headset (except for like a second, the ring comes from the phone mic itself and then transfers to the headset). I'm pretty sure it's not ROM's fault but some kind of delay in the software itself where voice command is a second slow in sending the notification to the headset.
I do use BB connect to get my yahoo, gmail and work email in my device. But this ROM and so many others except few from the service providers will not work. I'm forced to go back to the slow ROMs just because of that.
I was wondering in future release if this can be fixed or is there any other solutions like somehow fetching my emails from yahoo and work (without large delay time)to an exchange server like web2mail and from where mails are push it to my device.
Any help is much appreciated.

Molski made a G3 & G4 version because it DOES HAVE IPL/SPL included.
Your Phone Needs to Be CID Unlocked to use this Rom.
Now let's not make this a CID unlocking discussion...

If you remove the IPL/SPL per the referenced thread then you should be okay for G3 devices. However it appears the security is different on G4 devices and the Extended ROm may not update on a CID Locked G4 Device.
Personally I'm for leaving the IPL/SPL in the Rom Updater and so many have failed to read the instructions and flashed from an AKU 1.x to one of the IPL/SPL-less 2/3.x Roms.

I have been using various of customized ROMs from this forum.... BIG thanks to Molski, Faria and Risidoro and all the other GURUs! I have recently noticed that my Cingular 8125 running an AKU3.2 Rom is missing calls and not notifying me of voice mails. And I frequently got the "Phone not Ready, wait 15 seconds and retry" message. I have tried the "clean" 3.2 rom and other variant and some behaves a little better but they all have the same problem. That's why I am hesitant to try this rom.
By reading posts in this forum some people claim this is a nature born problem with AKU3.2. Is this true? Does anyone have the same difficulty with this ROM? Finally, being an engineer myself I have to ask this question: What's the real root cause of this?

That is a very good question, I think we will just need for enough people to install this Rom before we will know. I am on Cingular in the US and just flashed it this morning.
Best advice: Have the RUU for the AKU 2.x Rom of your choice, make a good backup (I use Spb Backup) and then try this one for a few days.

Internet through usb = ok (if you configure MS Activesync correctly)

No downgrade required but you can't simply back-up your contacts with a standard backup program as the PIM DB has changed with AKU 3.x:eek:
I have a free account with Mail2Web where I sync my contacts, calander etc just for this purpose. after an upgrade I simply resync with mail2web via AS and I'm ready to go again.

Thanks for all the work Molski! It works great in my CID-Unlocked G4.
I tried to flash it on a locked G4 to see if it belongs in the list "roms that work on G4 cid-locked devices". The OS part wouldn't update. My conclusion is that you'll have to remove the CID lock first if you own a G4 and want to use this great rom (only possible through imei-check atm).

PIM data is stored in a different format in 3.2 ROMs so backups from a 2.xx ROM will be incompatable.

After about 24 hours of using this ROM, I can say a couple things that I am seriously in love with:
- Better battery life! I used to watch my battery drain off to about 66% - 76% after about going through a 16 hour span without and ActiveSync/Charge. This would include me using SPB Time as my alarm clock, running SPB PocketPlus, Time, Diary, Wisbar Advance 2, phoneAlarm, and BatteryStatus overclocking my phone to 260Mhz. About 30 minutes worth of games, 45 minutes of music at 80% volume, and about 2-3 hours of phone calls. After today's standard routine, I went home with my battery level at 94%! That is a HUGE improvement over using the AKU 2.3 ROM!
- System stability increased! I would go through my day and watch my phone crash maybe once a day due to something odd, like hitting snooze on SPB Time or loading up music from PocketMusic... There were no crashes! The best part, performance was a lot quicker and stable! Being overclocked at 260Mhz and this new ROM is simply a dream!
I do love the bonus pack that Molski added with the installers... I don't use them all, but Wm5torage is one that no Wizard user should be without!

vwchem: My reception is crystal clear, I can even recieve service on stormy days! Typically, I would get 0% - 6% signal integrity from Cingular, but today, I got an average of 92% - 100% today and the cloud coverage from a storm here was heavy. Usually I would miss call and messages, but I recieved every call and text message today. If you're using Molski's AKU 2.3 package, this will feel like a completely new phone!

This was mentioned previously as a 'feature' in the AKU 3.2 ROM.... Apparently it comes out of standby to lock the device so if BatteryStatus (or another App?) is configured for 'DeviceLock' on Wakeup then hitting the power button causes the Wizard to go into standby and then immediately turn the screen back on to apply the DeviceLock.

Try this:
Configure BatteryStatus for DeviceLock on Wakeup, then lock the device via the today plugin (enable it if it's not there) and then hit the power button. This is how mine is configured and I don't get the auto-screen-on's anymore. I am however still using Faria's AKU 3.2 ROM as I don't have any issues with it.

I have a free account with Mail2Web where I sync my contacts, calander etc just for this purpose. after an upgrade I simply resync with mail2web via AS and I'm ready to go again.

You don't need any cab files for Cingular network access.
Just create a new connection usging Cell GPRS with the following setting:

My phone is already CID unlocking.
Do I really need to run all the below steps?
1. Downgrade to the 1.05 Rom ( ftp://xda:xda@ftp.xda-developers.com..._11210_WWE.exe )

It was my first time flashing my phone, but after a few hours of research, I was able to CID Unlock and flash my phone successfully on my first attempt. Thanks to all you dedicated folks who make this information and these greats tools available to the masses.
@thefunkygibbon: The work around I used for this problem is to just keep Lock Device on the Today Screen, and lock it before pressing the power button once. Or, you can assign a key you don't use often to quickly lock the device that way. Works fine for me.
@mikaarce: Try using Outlook if you have it - sync before you flash, and sync afterward. Or, look up free services that offer syncing OTA.
@other G3 users with problems: I read in Dr.Puttingham's "A Definitive Guide to Unlocking G3 Wizards (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=285435)," that he usually downgrades to TMO's 2.26 ROM before testing out new custom ROMs. I took his advice and have not any issues described here yet.
I hope this helps a bit, and good luck.

No. It seems that the base AKU 3.2 ROM is hacked from the Universal's official AKU 3.2 ROM so is apparently incomplete or at least has components from the AKU 2.x ROM's included.
I would also really like WPA2/AES but I think if/until HTC release an official AKU 3.x ROM we won't see it :( I know there are 3rd party EAP supplicants that can do it but I would rather use the integrated MS one.

Judging by my experiences it looks like SPB apps are to be avoided with this ROM. Plus caused me headaches and Backup isn't any good for the System or PIMs. They must have some very "specific" code in their programs.

Hi Molski,
this Rom works great for my Cingular 8100 (no camera due to job) and my german O2 carrier. Had your previous Rom's on my 8100 with no probs but
this Rom finally has all the features I had been missing like:
- SMS Backup
- StartUP Manager
- SMS Delivery Fix
- Adobe LE
- and yes I love that new ringtone and alarm tones!
What I also noticed is that scrolling in notes, sms etc. now works
line for line without flipping to blank unwritten space!
Thanks Molski!
And I can only emphasize Dr Puttingham's post:
"Definitive Guide to Unlocking G3 Wizards"
look here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=285435
I also follow these few and simple steps and never experienced
any problems at all!
Thanks for helping me to keep my phone still interesting!

hi
traded my g4 with a friend for a g3...
Now, what i want to know is if I flash this ROM, will I still be able to downgrade to another ROM (like Qtek's 2.17) if I don't like this one or have sm probs with it...
Of course you can. I had to downgrade back to AKU 2.3 Rom but found that before I could downgrade to a Custom/Cooked Rom I had to flash one of the Carrier Roms:eek: (I used the T-Mobile 2.26 on my Cingular 8125).

One thing though. I keep having Activesync running for no reason even though I'm not connected to the PC. What should I do?
Read up on your device, ActiveSync wants to always run by default. There is a workaround for this (search the forum) where you create a dummy Exchange server in active synce and change the sync schedule to Manually for everything.

Same use with the Faria ROM it appears the radio goes to sleep and I cannot get any calls until I make a call. If I dont make a call for a while, I get no ringing and all calls go to voicemail. This is the missed call syndrome. But once I make a call, I start to get calls
Sadly, I experienced that same thing and since I use this phone as my home phone I had to downgrade to AKU 2.3:(

Okay so I've narrowed it down to 3 possible programs that could be effecting my device.
If you didn't see my last post, it was on page 12 or 13. It basically said that my device either kept resetting itself or freezing once I got to the password screen.
I took the suggestion of trying out each program and seeing which ones were malfunctioning.
I narrowed it down to PHM Launchtray, omap and SPB Backup. If anyone else can confirm this I would appreciate it.
Instead of just hard resetting it, I just reinstalled the rom and now it's working fine with the following programs:
IM+ version 2.23
E-TEN dialer skin
Inclose Mobile (although it will not activate on startup)
Palm Messaging app
PIE Plus version 2.21
Pocket X Plus Photo Contacts Pro
Resco Registry
Resco Explorer
Resco FTP
ShowSim Tweak
I anyone can recommend an alternative to PHM Launchtray and SBP Backup, please let me know. And if anyone else can confirm that omap will not work right with this rom would be great.

After extensive testing here are some unique problems and may be applicable to the Cingular USA network.
First the good news, the new cabs for a2dp works with ht820 so getting stereo. The bad news, when bluetooth is in use I get the minute plus problem. What is that?
I call my voicemail or call someone and get their voicemail with bluetooth active on the phone and the keys to delete, advance etc. do not respond, fortunately I'm using vmail that continues to the next message if there are no responses to prompt. When I call someone and get their voicemail, I cannot enter any keys to disconnect or make the message urgent so I just wait for the call to time out. It usually times out at or about 1 min 18 secs.
Now that time is interesting because sometimes I call people and around 1 min 15/18 secs the call cuts off in the middle of a conversation. Usually with bluetooth..
Result the phone someone times out a call after one minute.... Any ideas??

In regards to some of you all having problems with the SPB Suite, are you all overclocking the phone or is it running at the base clock speed of 195Mhz?
I haven't had a problem with any of the SPB suite and I am running Wisbar Advance 2 on top of it with my MDA overclocked to 260Mhz. It hasn't had a problem since I had installed it earlier this week.
Nope, haven't even tried overclocking until I know this ROM is stable on my phone for at least one week.

Hi,
I just installed this ROM upgrade on my K-JAM, and found that not all the fixes/upgrades etc were available.
NB: I'm a first time user of a "custom/extended ROM".
The following things didn't happen on my phone:
SMS Backup program
Contacts Backup program
Smartskey 0.54 integrated in the Rom
10 Themes in the Rom
12 Picture themes in the Rom
Softkey ControlPanel
StartUp Manager ControlPanel
Vista SplashScreen
4 new Alarm tones (Alarm5, Alarm6, Alarm7 and Alarm8)
New ringtone (Windows Mobile tone)
New iconset used for Call History
Adds "Beam multiple Contacts" to the Contacts Menu
TaskManager added (with shortcut in \Settings\System)
CloseAll TaskManager added to Start
Acrobat Reader LE installed as PDF Viewer (in "Office Mobile" in Programs)
"Windows Black Theme" is set as standard theme
Pocket Word, Pocket Excel and Pocket Powerpoint are moved into a folder called "Office Mobile" in Programs
Removed link to Zip application in Programs
Removed link to Download Agent application in Programs
Removed Init_Tray.lnk, Wifi_Init.lnk and poutlook.lnk from StartUp folder
Removed standard Pictures from My Pictures
Removed standard Music from My Music
Removed standard movie from My Videos
New Default Page for Pocket Internet Explorer (Google Page)
Some Today Screen plug-ins disabled by default
I got mostly everything else listed. But atleast half the actions/features mentioned are missing.
Is there some reason for the above?

Stable so far on my T-Mobile G3. I have to overclock to watch video off the SD card without skipping (but this is pretty normal). The mail program seems very slow to open the first time, but then runs normally. Otherwise, everything is either better or no worse. No freezes or crashes. I'm running
WM5NewMenu
TodayAgenda
SPBBackup
SKSchema
Handyweather
Newsbreak
Listpro
Zagat
Total Commander
Memmaid
NPop
QMail
I sync with two PCs using Activesync 4.5, which is working fine, but it develops problems infrequently, so not really tested for improvement.

I don't know if this is because of ROM update or one of my applications but somewhere between me installing Windows Live and PenReader my device would do this weird flickering...become unresponsive and shut off. THen my touch screen stop working. I started uninstalling programs but it was still the same problem.
I'm re-flasing again to this ROM and starting from scratch. I also had the phone overclocked to 247. I didn't think about lowering the speed before I started re-installing the ROM.
Has this happened to anyone else? Its an 8125.

Once you start the process of reflashing the phone the speed will revert to normal. The overclocking is software driven.

Ok I think I figured out what is causing it (Because it happened again). It appears to be the ISH InClose Mobile application. I'm removing it right now to see if that is the case......
Edit: Yup thats the problem so for those of you that use that application it appears this ROM and that app don't like each other. There is already an option for closing apps in the ROM so I guess its redundant.
Hope it helps someone

Is there any way to get this thing working with spb pocket plus.
It`s important for me, but i can`t find the solution
I don't know how, but I'm with you on wanting the solution.
My understanding is the latest Spb Pocket Plus is not compatible with AKU3.2, but I wonder if it is specifically the Safe Mode feature that is the issue. I had already reverted back to Molski's Final 2.3 when I read something suggesting that the Safe Mode add-in conflicts with AKU3.2 - I thought when it soft-reset and Safe Mode came up that it was a symptom of the problem - but maybe it IS the problem (!?). I haven't yet had the time to try a reinstall of Molski's 3.0.0 to test this hypothesis.
I understand that iLaunch does work with this ROM, but I don't want to buy another program when Pocket Plus is already paid for and was working fine previous to this.

***Update: today this problem isn't occurring. That is even more mysterious, since it was a noticeable problem for me since I tend to use the device one-handed, and deleting emails after reading is pretty normal for me.***
When I have a message open in tmail (messaging), there is a menu at the lower right softkey, but it is greyed out, so that it can't be reached. Thus, if I want to delete an open message, I have to close it and delete from the message list.

All my messages have returned after tracking down the group of software that could have been the cause of the problem. Try installing all the items that you need that are contained in the ROM and back it up after every installation of extra items that you are adding. Then just post your findings and wait for the ROM Gods to respond. Good luck and godspeed.

Ok, here's my story: Everything i want is working (sms, phone calls, tom tom, iLauncher, Exhange push mail).
When i tried to update to this ROM and installed the G4 version it went okay, but i missed almost all programs. Then i went to follow Molski's guide (bottom of start post) to address any problems.
After i did follow this to the letter i have a G3 device (ipl/spl 1.05)?
I could not install the G4 version of this rom anymore (freezed and rebooted at the splash screen).
Then i jumped from the cliff (ignoring the warning, never to flash a g4 with g3 roms) and now i have a great working G3 device ?!? (ipl/spl show 2.17 instead of 2.17.xxx)
I can perfectly live with this change, since the rom is working great for me till now. My phone seems to be okay with this "gender" change to G3.

I am having similar issues with not receiving incoming call notifications and delayed voice mail notifications.
I am having additional issues with the device, such as freezing after the Today screen loads and on wakeup. I first un-installed BatteryStatus, since I suspected it to be the devicelock function. Then I installed omapclock for overclocking but had similar issues. It appears that overclocking "may" be the issue. I've been running my device for a few hours without BS or Omapclock and haven't had an issue with lock ups so far.
I also have an issue where the device wakes up for some unknown reason once it auto-sleeps. It sleeps fine when done manually. BS is un-installed (followed the steps here (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=270751)), so I am unsure as to what the cause is. Anyone out there experiencing this one?

-vasquja- I'd suspect the Agile Messenger and the Pocket softwares. Any app that accesses the internet will cause incoming calls to be missed due to the nature of this beast. I'd uninstall these one by one.
Also you didn't say what your OC'ing to... very important. I personally have all my Wizards OC'ed to 260 MHZ with BatteryStatus with absolutely no lockups.

Do I have to install the:
1.MP_Customization_TMOUSA_Wizard(AKU2.x)_060615_no Java.CAB
2.MP-Shorcut-MMS1-Voice-CV-TMUS-060404.CAB
or can I just install the connection setting .cab's?
I tried to play around with only installing what I thought I needed and it didn't work...I would install everything except the mms folder setup(2), because that folder already exists. This is what I use for any clean rom.

I didn't need any of those files. I followed these instructions:

and it worked me (US T-Mobile MDA). T-Mobile wants to put an icon in the tray, and I don't want a lower tray. Moreover, uninstall requires a hard reset! The downside is that I have to manually log onto hotspots, but for me, that is a small price to pay for the added today screen real estate and reduced set of running programs.

NOPE! I'm having the same problem with the self-resetting and the freezing.
Similar Problem. Have installed this rom a few days ago and have had to hard reset it 3 times so far. In the first case it due to SPBPocketPlus switching the theme, in another case Skype crashed and I asked it to provide me with additional information about the crash.
In both cases, the phone screwed up and kept on getting frozen even after a few soft resets. Safe mode did not help. The phone became unusable.
So I have had to hard reset it for 3 times up to now.
Any help would me very appreciated.

Same problems with this ROM. At least 95% of the time I am unable to send SMS. Frequently, all of the buttons on the phone will stop working while on a phone call and I am forced to take the battery out to disconnect/turn off the call.
I love all the features that this ROM has, but my Cingular 8125 is unusable with this ROM :(

The files I posted had nothing to do with HotSpots...they were for sms, mms & internet only....
no icons would be installed anywhere....just an easy way to add all the TMo settings.

Yes, I meant the downside of not using T-Mobile customization generally, not your two files. The hotspot manager is the "wispa" file.

Hey guys, just ran into another small problem, not sure if anyone else is doing the same, but for some reason, when I check my voicemail or call a number that requires input of some numbers or the * key (like my home voicemail) the buttons do not activate, so pretty much I cant save or delete voicemails from the phone, anyone else has expierenced this or know a work around?
Other than that, so far I have had no really other problems, just love the fact of having almost 20mb of ram free on a constant basis, especially with some of the proggys I run.

-vasquja- I'd suspect the Agile Messenger and the Pocket softwares. Any app that accesses the internet will cause incoming calls to be missed due to the nature of this beast. I'd uninstall these one by one.
Dr. Puttingham: I tested the theory by making a data connection and then calling my number via another phone. I believe PocketWeather may be the culprit here, since it is scheduled to update every 15 minutes. It also ties in with the fact that I've only started to notice the problem after I installed the Pocket apps.
I never really suspected that the data connection was stopping incoming calls. Only because when using Agile Messenger, when I've made calls, the data connection would be interrupted. I figured it would work the same when receiving incoming calls. I understand now that it works just like dial-up. Thank you for the helpful suggestion!
Also you didn't say what your OC'ing to... very important.
My Wizard is OC'd to 260 MHz as well.

Like others, two main problems. SPB Pocket Plus freezes the machine - as soon as the Today screen is displayed, or - if you've disabled the plugins - as soon as you go Start -> Settings. Solution: Don't install Pocket Plus !! (No problem with SPB Diary (latest version) though).
I've also suffered from the problem whereby the phone switches itself on at random times - usually, but not always, just a couple of minutes of being put into standby mode.
Anyways, I've managed to stop it doing that... but only by NOT ticking the "Prompt if device unused for" checkbox on Start -> Settings -> Lock. As soon as I put that on - on any number of minutes, then I get the switching itself on. Leave that option off, and it's fine.
I can live without that... Nice job on the ROM.

Wow this is an impressive ROM release, wish I still had a Wizard to use it on!
I'm contemplating convincing my boss and one of my coworkers to put it on theres :) They are unwittingly running one of MrCleans older ROMs.
We need to get these three guys a Hermes so we can get some awesome

I suppose the whole problem with being able to run custom ROMs in the first place needs to be addressed before it would be helpful...

Any help is much appreciated.
does voice command work on this version or not??? i know in the older versions of 3.x it did not work but when i winstalled this update it seems to give me errors.. yet one member says it works fine???

I have all of Molski's Installer apps installed, except for BatteryStatus.
Additional apps installed:
PocketBreeze
WA2
PocketWeather
iLauncher
IconXT
psShutXP
Windows Live Search
Agile Messenger
Ok, so I'm only running Molski 2.26.10.2. But I had lockup problems with this version. I found that when I set the registry entry
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Drivers\BuiltIn\RIL]
"GPRSStallWorkaround"=dword:0
This fixed my lockup problems, I reboot the phone only maybe every month or two.
I hope that this helps. I think this is a good registry entry to include.

No you most likely did not brick it. Boot into bootloader mode (with phone completely off hold down voice tag and then hit power and you should come up to the RGB screen.) Plug in your USB cable and you should see USB appear in the lower corner. From here install your previous rom and you should be back to where you were before you started.

Okay I went out and got a new Cingular SIM (blue) sorry to report same result, the phone will not respond to key presses when I call voicemail (sometimes). This is most annoying when I accidentally/inadvertently make an international call and cannot cut the call off. The phone is continue unable to respond to hangups or other button for at least 1 min 18secs when it times out itself. No solution in site.
Weird problem I experienced with the new (blue) SIM, no call logs were being created....... it just seemed to go away after I setup voicemail.....

There are several dialer issues with this rom and some 8125's and MDA's....this will continue until the proper drivers are available to the developers.
Issue examples: delayed dialing, dialpad non-responsive w/&/w/o bluetooth earpiece (soft reset sometimes required), missed calls & slow signal after coming out of a non-coverage area.
No need for you to make any hardware changes. The ROM is not @ fault...just wrong set of drivers.

I have had this problem with E-ten skins. Happens when ROM installs it, and later installs of other skins don't reverse it. Try a ROM with with no skin (Like Molski's latest) and then add a PAulya skin. Works fine for PIN's and other added characters.

My PDA wakes up on regular basis. Seems there's something wrong with key blocking mechanism because more or less 30s after switching my phone off one can wake it up with button press. As the matter of fact without key pressing it wakes up all by itself few seconds later. I'm pretty sure that's key blocking problem cause when I Device Lock on (with today plugin) there's no problem at all.
Maybe SmartsKey is the source of the problem. I'll check it up asap.

I do like the ROM. Makes a difference from the latest O2 Rom.
I cant find the extended rom in Resco explorer. I have setup Resco to view all hidden files and rom files.
Is this due to the G4 nature of my phone? I have run LokiWiz on my phone before and upgraded the ROM to a different ROM than O2 before.

I've noticed that my phone tends to wake up as many of you have. If you are overclocking this may be the issue. Try turing your PPC back to 195mhz and turn the screen off. If I am correct it should stay off until you wake it up. Then when you need the extra MHZ turn it back up just by pressing the 195 and it should jump back to the overclocked speed that you have specified. Good luck.

Hi Molski, Faria and all other Rom Geniuses,
Can anyone of you tell me how to get the german keyboard working with AKU3.2 Roms (specifically Molski's 3.0.0.0 Rom). The old tricks described in the wiki don't work with his rom, because the only installed layout is 309 not 307 in the registry so changing the keyboard layout preload does not help anything. Is there a way I can get back the qwertz keyboard with all the accented characters?
Thanks for letting me know.
At the moment I'm playing around with AEKMap but it's not really satisfying because the accented characters are triggered different and the _ and - characters are not working.

Same happened to me. Simple enough.
Go to [Start] --> [Settings] (Control Panels). Then select the [System] tab.
Select [Regional Settings] and in there select the [Time] tab.
The choices on the [Time Style] dropdown are:
- h:mm:ss tt ---- 12h without leading 0 (i.e. 2:33 AM)
- hh:mm:ss tt ---- 12h WITH leading 0 (i.e. 02:33 AM)
- HH:mm:ss ---- 24h without leading 0 (i.e. 2:33)
- HH:mm:ss ---- 24h WITH leading 0 (i.e. 02:33)
The dropdown is really tiny, so in order to find the other options do mind the even tinier up and down arrows so you can find whichever option you want.
...btw.... L O V E this ROM !!!! LOVE it! Thanks Molski :)
