radio udate utility giving me error message.

i got my mda from tmobile about 2 weeks ago it came with radio version 2.25
when i try to update to 2.47 the udate utility tell me " can not update please get a newer update utility" any suggestions

sounds like you have a G4 phone and trying to use the radio that has a G3 update utility
