When my i-mate reach arround 20% of the main battery it shut down without any previous notice about the low level ad so...

Any idea arround there about this misbehaviour?

How old's your battery? The power level prediction might be being caught out by an unexpectedly dying battery, if it's not in optimum condition.

My device is now 2 years old and last summer, I had a lot of battery related problems even it showed that it was still 45% full. Device would shut off in the middle of a call.

Mine did the same lately. After re-connection powercable after it finished recharching for a few times, thus making it recharge a bit longer, it seems to work.

Happened to me too. Every time it reaches 40-50%, it shut downs by itself if received a call/sms.

I've been using it for almost 2 years and sometimes I left it overnight everyday to charge fully. Is it because of the battery performance has been dropped? Once my battery vibrator vibrate very weak.

I had the same.
My advice:

Clean the contacts of the battery and in the phone with a soft cloth. Recharge.

If this doesnt work then your battery is worn out and needs replacement.
