View Full Version : [Req] How i'm can share my edge internet conection to my laptop Vaio ?

Hi all,
The sony vaio have "express card" and not PCMCIA and my provider don't have an express card to put my sim on it :(
Is someone can help/explain me how i can connect with my laptop Vaio to internet while using my EDGE internet conection of my Qtek9100
Can i share it via wifi ? or BT ?
is i need a software on the PPC ?

Search for "Tethering" That is the term. I've only done it using the WIzard as a USB Modem with AKU 2.x Roms.
Now if you upgrade to a 3.x Rom then you can use Internet Connection Sharing but that only works with USB.:cool:

On your ppc go to programs, modem link, select usb, baud is blank and your apn chould be there. Now install the modem driver on your laptop along with the dialer which you can download here.
