Update my Cingular 8125 To any other Rom

Hi i need help ok i belive my phone is a g4. the phone is locked to cingualr i think. the rom is 2.25.11.1 wwe. ok well i want to update my rom to another 1 so i tried unlocking the cid and i tihnk i did it but when i tried updating a another rom it says that theirs an error in the update utilty PLZ if some 1 has AIM i need help on what to do plZ HELP ME

I will be the first to tell you...read the stickys :)

Second off you do have a G4 phone, which can be a little tricker flashing, I would try and use one of Molskis Roms for the G4, should upgrade easily. If you are getting that error, then you may have downloaded a 3g one.

Be careful, i broke my first 8125 by bricking it trying to flash it.

Well, can any rom go onto a G4 device? I was reading up on farias new windows crossbow themed rom, an AK2 based rom...

will this work properly on my G4 8125 currently with Cingulars 2.26 rom? Ive been reading these posts, but cant keep up with them all lol

i need personal help can some 1 IM MEFor what it is worth, Shogunmark has been personally helping you. Also, if you are using anything other than Cingular's ROM you run the very real risk of the "missing calls, tons of voicemail" issue. You are probably better off just waiting for a better ROM from Cingular until the challenge has been sorted out.

When it comes to flashing you need to read and fully understand what you are about to do to your phone. Its also very important to know whether its a G3 or G4. Judging by the error you recieved there is 1 of 2 things here, either:
A: you have a G4 and need to check out the G4 section for roms available to you. or
B: You did not successfully cid unlock your phone. So see A
