what will give you better performance ?

and what (if any) applications SHOULD be installed to the Device rather then the Memory Card.

I have a lot of programs installed on my memory card and the performance in terms of speed seem to be exactly the same.

I tried installing SPB pocket plus on my memory card once and it told me that the driver for the memory card may load after the program has loaded, which means that program wouldn't work properly. Because of this, I generally load all programs that are going to run at startup on my phone memory, but maybe someone else can provide insight into whether or not startup programs on your memory card actually pose a problem.

sorry to raise this thread again but does anyone know the answer ?
I have an important App that gets lost every time my Hima battery goes flat . Could I install and run the app from the SD card?
Its not an app that needs to start with the device startup

Yeah, you can install it to your card. The only programs that generally HAVE to be installed to your device itself are things like today screen plugins, and SPB programs as said above. Most everything else will work just as fast and reliably from the memory card.
