I've just completed another Hard Reset and reinstalled all the software that is 'must-have'.

The last time around, I had CeleTask and Memmaid and SKTools, all of which had a "Free RAM" Program built into them. I had made a shortcut out of that function and assigned it to one of my Softkeys.

This time around however, I'd rather not install any of those softwares. Is there any program, maybe just a single file that can free up RAM and do nothing else.

I don't want to overload my Wizard with unnecessary programs.

TIA

http://www.oxios.com/memory/

I have both Hibernate and CloseApps installed, but I only use Hibernate since CloseApps kills whichever program you aren't using. All the info is on the site.

Or No programe needed!!!

Go to 'Start', 'Settings', 'System', Memory, 'Running Programs' 'Stop All'

Free and no program needed, and if you look into this you maybe be able to find the reg key so you can have this on a button.

Well 'Start', 'Settings', 'System', Memory, 'Running Programs' 'Stop All' isnt really as efficient as some of these other programs.

The thing is, when a program open, in addition to its own executable it opens a bunch of other files. Now my guess is that when you use the 'Start', 'Settings', 'System', Memory, 'Running Programs' 'Stop All' option, it doesnt kill all the other processes, hence a larger memory drain.

Thanks for link gtdRR. Will check it out.

Molski's last build had "Close All" and I love that thing. Assigned it as a softkey and it works like a charm.
