registry wont change

i'm using a aku3.2 rom. how come some of the registry settings wont change? like the gps icon. everytime i set it it goes back when i do a soft reset. or even a hard reset for that matter. whats the deal?

you can't do a soft reset just after a reg change. Switch the device off and on, and preferably keep the unit on for like .. say 5 mins before soft reseting it.

Switch the device off and on, and preferably keep the unit on for like .. say 5 mins before soft reseting it.What he said...and the backlight display settings for the HTC platform seem wonky, meaning that it always resets to 10secs. I think that it is a hardware "oops".
