How to get it work with Qtek S200.

This is how I did it.:)

Get the aku33_a2dp (search the forum) and install the two CAB-files by copying them via activsync to ex. my documents. Install them from there

Get aku35_a2dp (search the forum) and copy three files to the \windows directory (Avrcp_MPplugin.dll; bta2dp.dll;sbc.dll) of the pda

Reset your Qtek and delete any pairing with HTC BH M100 Headset.

Pair it again and you will have the option to set "Wireless Stereo".

Good luck

Did you have some problems with it?

the a2dp was already working on aku 2
the problem was the sound's quality... kind of saturated/metallic on some frequencies...

Are you experiencing the same problems or is the sound good?

Are you experiencing the same problems or is the sound good?Just out of interest, are you using an iTech or iTech derivative A2DP device? Looking closely at the forums, it seems like the HT820 is experiencing perfect sound quality - I purchased some (arriving soon, currently have iTech R35) to test my theory, just looking for some confirmation.

edit: I found it desperado 27-04-2006 03:26 PM Just some finding to share everyone here. I am using 818Pro Chinese version. I have tried the i.Tech S38 and Motorola HT820 bluetooth headset and found that the latter is of much better MP3 sound quality than the former. There is no hissing sound for HT820.

edit2: sorry, clarification, the S100, the stereo version of the HTC bluetooth headset, appears to be the iTech R35.Exhibit A (http://i.expansys.com/i/b/b140285.jpg) , Exhibit B (http://img.eprice.com.tw/img/acc/b/964.jpg) :D

strange I thought it was the MS bluetooth stack (and especially the A2DP dll) that was delivering poor sound quality because with the same headset (plantronic A590) I had good sound with an ipaq (widcomm stack) and crappy sound on my S200 (with MS stack)...

The Plantronics A590 has been reported as sounding 'muddy' on the prophet. I think it's basically just finniky ;)
