I have an ALPINE which is stuck on "windows mobile" screen

Hi all PDA and HTC lovers.I have an ALPINE which is stuck on "windows mobile" screen. Thats because I was upgrading a new rom but during upgrade connection between my PDA and my PC was interrupted then I got many error messages on screen but it was too late now I cant get my ALPINE into bootloader mode and I only can see "windows mobile" screen when I plugged charger.Is it possible to make it run my alpine again. I would be very pleased if you could help.

I got similar problem on XDA Exec last week and fixed it. I do not know whether the steps will help on you XDA IIi or not.

I was upgrading the XDA Exec to a newer ROM version and keep getting country error code. Whatever I did caused the device to stuck on window mobile screen. I simply put the device into the cradle after reseting it. The screen still shown the window mobile image. I ran the ROM update program again (I think it is MaUpgradeUt_noID.exe). It showed an error but I ran it again withthout taking my device out of the cradle. It run sucessful the second time.

I notice that when the program runs, it close ActiveSync application from your desktop and the device screen turns to black screen with some simple texts on it.

Selcuk, have you solved ur IIi yet? and which Rom were you trying to install? what was the reason of getting the upgrade interupted? I can upload the PUGs rom if you want.

hi my fellow Siddiqui I couldnt solve that problem yet.And I tried to upgrade it again and couldnt manage to do that shit upgade please help me...Do I need to send it to HTC to Dubai? and I dont know how much does it cost ? can u please tell me if u know more about this topic?

Hi,
which Rom were you trying to install? what was the reason of getting the upgrade interupted/corrupted? I can upload the PUGs rom (as I am using it and its fantastic) if you want with the instructions.

I was trying to upgrade to Alpine_Ext-1.11.162_Radio-1.04_O2stuffstripped_Camera_Fixed
rom but I couldnt. Can you please upload any other which will help me to save my alpine if possible....and I can try PUGs rom thnks so much
