I'm on 4.5 beta

an di got the error => Support code 80070057

I try :
- changing my ROM => nothing
- changing my Radio => nothing

So actually i'm under AKU 3.50a.32 WWE with Radio 1.19 and 30 Mb of storage (using DOC tool).

Could I have done something wih the Disc On Chip ?

NB : I use Office 2007, it work before with my old 2003 ROM.
After, I upgrade so i force with HimaUpgradeUt_noID.exe and the progs wont install temselves...
So i change the ROM again, the Radio...progs install works but the synch can't be achieved

Don't hesitate to curse me for 3 generations :)

I think the problem isnt on your device buth rather on you computer..

Why dont you try to make another user on your computer then try to sync it there..

Lets see what will happen

do you have an application that actually closes programs? if yes, try to set activesync.exe as an exception.

I got a task manager but i dont see what you want to do

Trying to tell my firewall or toher that active sync is good for me ?
=> It's the case because it was working fine before

Trying to close the prog on my device ?
=> Haven't a activsync.exe just en repllog.exe with the activ sync icone.

Well well well, i'm so fu**** confused

I have the very same problem, since i've cook a new rom aku 3.2 w/ 24Mb of pagepool. I've noticed that i can't delete or modify any file in the root folder, but using resco explorer. So i guess that my root folder for a reason i don't know, is write protected. My hima didn't sync with outlook, using any versior of ActiveSync at home and work (before the new rom, it works pretty fine), but it gets connected so i can use internet... So any of you guys can tell me how to solve my problem?

It would be very appreciated

I have the same problem,so i did backup my Data directly on the Himalaya Device und copied it over the WM5 Storage tool, its a small run in a Circle but
its functional ,You can Install Apps too, because you can choose now (thanks to WM2k5)where the
Apps are going to copied..

The problem is 100% in your PC. I discovered this when I notice that my laptop sync ok but want sync with my desktop. I done everything under the sun to make sure my disktop mirro image of the lapttop but nothing works.

Then at last I discovered that it works when I UNchecked the settings on the device (USB to PC) to disable the advance network functionality.

I suggest you delet active sync first and re-install it then reboot..

Good luck.

I think better use the fix version 4.2 not beta 4.5. It could be there is some bugs in the software.

Is this just an email sync issue, rather than just comms?

Do you use Exchange server?

Try this:

On the Exchange server, launch Internet Services Manager. Right click on the Microsoft-Server-ActiveSync virtual directory and choose Properties. Select the Directory Security tab. Click the Edit button in the Secure Communications section and select the option to “Ignore client certificates.”
