Phone problem

I Does anyone know how to fix this problem:
When open the phone and make a call, then I close the phone, I couldn't hear the voice from the small speaker. When I open it up, then I can hear? Is there something wrong? I've never got this problem before.

You'll need to include many more details for others to give you help specific to your problem:
- What Phone/Model
- What Operating System (WM5 / PPC2003SE / other)
- Smartphone or PPC
- What do you mean "close the phone" - close the phone application, or close the handset (for a smartphone flip phone for example)
etc...

My phone is O2 XDA Exec model # is PU10. I'm using Helmi's beta 3 ROM right now. What I meant is close the handset, ive just got that problem like a few days ago and I thought that there might be something wrong with the ROM so I flashed the Helmi's new ROM, I was using Ivan's rom before that.
