HELP WRONG UPGRADE dopod 838 radio rom

I just finishing upgarde radio rom of my dopod 838 with cingular radio rom
btw after finishing & restart the device, they can't going up to the windows mobile system, and still runnting at booting mode with cingular booting picture.
also i cant see the radio rom version at boot screen, did they lost?

then I ask to the servcie centre at my place, they say my dopod must be buy a new dopod mainboard $300 US. and chenge them
Did the service centre haven't hardware/software installer for repairing my dopod?

Well you will find that if you use a Radio that has not been made for you phone, it could do alot of damage. So you may find that the service centre is right!

If you used one of the Radio Only Roms then the splash screen would not have changed.

Download and flash one of the Roms for your exact Device & Carrier.

Then find the sticky post on Radio Only Roms and download and flash the one you want.

Problem solved.

First, if you have a Cingular Splash Screen then you used the wrong Rom since you only wanted the Radio updated.

Second, the problem is not that your device is locked but rather that the Cingular Rom reports version 2.25 which is higher than the two Dopod Roms (2.19 English & 2.23 Chinese).

What you need to do:
Download one of the Radio Only Roms (from the above link). Extract the contents to a folder on your PC.
Download the desired Dopod Rom Upgrade Utility from here: http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=Wizard_Upgrades
Change the file extension to from .exe to .rar and then extract "nk.nbf" file to the folder from step 1 (overwrite the existing file).
Enter Bootloader Mode (Press Voicedial button + comms manager button + soft reset. You will get a screen with 3 colored bars).
Connect your phone to PC with USB Cable.
Run "ROMUpdateUtility_Wizard_NoID.exe"Let us know if you get it fixed.

but the screen when boot still cingular
but its no problem
