View Full Version : "The device is restricted from downloading this file type" w/ IE

This is the error message I get whenever I navigate to a page ending in .jpg or .gif. I'm not sure if it happens with more extensions, but on my 8125/wizard, it would prompt me to download the file. Any reason or solution as to why this this is happening? thanks

Sorry I can't be of help to you. I have a 8525 with the latest Cingular ROM and I do not have this problem.

what ROM are you using and what are you using to surf? PIE?

I pressume show pictures is ticked in the view menu?
