I was having issues with cingular dns lookups taking forever sometimes, and this seems to help a lot so far.

If I use cingular's proxy, I have a lot fewer problems with dns taking forever, but some sites like yahoo news say 'forbidden'.
is cingular just using a 486 for a dns server, or do I have some other problem?

I use it on both my PocketPC and home PC.

but yes, their dns is slooooooow, i am using open dns with much better results...

I'm having faster lookups using 4.2.2.1 for primary and 4.2.2.2 for alternate than I did with the the open dns servers. Found that here:
