What do each of the cabs do in the different extroms?

I've looked through many threads trying to find the answer, and some of the cabs are obviously named, but I was wondering if there's a post, or a way to find out, that describes what each cab in the extended rom is for?

for example, Cingular 8525 1.34.502.1 ExtROM WWE, what is \Extended_ROM\T_mm1lib_DLL.CAB?

or in T-Mobile-UK - Vario II - Extended Rom -- what's \Extended_ROM\PP_HER_TMUK-UXC_12JUN06.CAB
