orange SPV M5000 won't wake up from standby

I just bought this PDA not long ago, everything seems working perfectly except one thing....everytime when I put my M5000 into standby I can't wake it up. The only solution is to press the reset button then power back on...
btw I have tried diff version of rom but same problem still existing..
anyone here had similar problem plz help !!!

you are certain to press the 'on' button for a short time ?
and not pressed ( an easy mistake )

Strange, i only have to tap my on button and it will start up, maybe a hard reset?

yes I am 100% sure I did tap my device correctly
I did try hard reset before but still the same
I am currently oversea wont have time to change the new device
thats why I am desparately to get this fone working ....
but I can't stand keep pressing reset button to wake up my device

sorry i don't have a clue...
cant you assign wake up to another button, in the registry ??
