My messaging application (on Dopod 838Pro) appears to have gone missing. If I click on the icon, press the softkey, try to send a photo via email/mms etc, I get no action.
Does anyone know of a way to restore it without a hard reset?
Thanks

Mine is there, but it tries to start an email. Now that email has been switched off / disabled it doesn't do anything.
Is there anything from the network provider that can be sent to kick start this all??

For instructions as to how to Reset SMS / MMS folders, look here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=1083243#post1083243
For the MMS program, the ArcSoft MMS program has been posted on various threads on this site. Once you have followed the instructions in the above link, then reinstall only the MMS program. For example, for the MMS program that works for the Blue Angel, see here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=1084299#post1084299. There have been newer versions of this program posted that work on WM5. Check the FTP site.
